Hi guys,

This may not interest many of you, but I have finally obtained all the setting for MMS, GPRS Wap and Email for my service provider, which is Optus in Australia.

And I now post them here in case any of you is with them as well.

Data Accounts: We need three of them
1) WAP
APN=wap.optus.net.au
Everything else as default or blank

2) Email
APN=INTERNET
Everything else as default or blank

3) MMS
APN=mms
Everything else as default or blank

Wap Profile:
1) Wap
Hompage=http://networker.optus.net.au/wap/index.wml
Connect using(Choose a Data Account here)=WAP
Response Timer=150
Everything else as default or blank

2) MMS
Homepage=http://mmsc.optus.com.au:8002/
Connect using=MMS
User id=6141xxxxxxx (your mobile number)
Response Timer=150
Everything else as default or blank

Email:
Connect using=Email
Everything else set as your POP and SMTP settings from your email provider


Turn off and on the phone after all the settings have been keyed in. Then send a MMS to your own number, that will activate your MMS service. From here, you should be able to browse WAP via GPRS, send MMS via GPRS, send and check POP Email via GPRS.

thankyou so much.

Do you also have GSm data settings.

And do you know how to get a laptop or ppc to connect to the phone - but to dial up a GSM ISP instead of using (GPRS which is really expensive)
