Hi,
Anyone tried the above configuration??
I am able to communicate with the modem in T68 from e.g. Hyperterminal, and also run "query modem" in the modem configuration, but doing an actual dialup through DUN in WinXP seems to be impossible giving the DUN error#633 (modem busy/not installed)
Anyone?

I wrote a little faq on how to set up the phone for dialup at
http://www.wapster.nu. It's mainly for the R520, but for the GPRS connection it's the same as long as you don't need to change APN. I think it's different AT commands. (Haven't checked)

Forget about this one.. The T68 doesnt come with the Ericsson phone setting software.. :|

So, there is a software I need to install? Nothing came with the phone in the box...
..and the modem is working very fine with no specific driver (generic only) over IR to my Cassiopeia EM-500
(and Yes, the GPRS settings are OK since it is working properly from the palm device!)

You download the sync SW from SonyEricsson. Then you get the modem driver, and the Settings SW.. Ericsson hasn't shipped any SW with the phone, since they think it's better to D/L it from the web, to make sure that you always get the latest release.. The DL is about 15 MB..

I got my laptop working yesterday running XP Pro with a 3COM Bluetooth card after downloading the software from Ericsson.
You must ensure you have the two devices properly 'paired' otherwise you will get the error message your seeing.
Checking my email from the train with the mobile still in my jacket prooved everything worked!

The bluetooth speed isn't a problem, its the 9600 baud connection from the phone itself. IP over GPRS isn't available on BT Cellnet yet.
It is however OK for downloading 'normal' text based e-mails and web pages (with pictures turned off).
The bluetooth side just makes it so much more convenient than the cable I used to have. On my Connex train in the morning there is no room for cables!
