Hi all,
my T68i drives me crazy.
I have an ActiSys IR-220L plus IR adapter attached to my PC on COM2 (Win98se). It's working - at least the system thinks so.
Whatever I do, Ericsson Mobile Phone Monitor doesn't see a phone.
Speed is set to max. 115200, tried also lower speeds to no avail.
Transmitting phone book entries back and forth from my Palm m500 or my Nokia 8210 works great. Although I've noticed that IR seems to hang on the T68i sometimes after I aborted a transfer operation between the Nokia or the Palm. Only solution was to switch off and back on the T68i.
Also recognized the following problems:
1)
I don't have the option for entering the costs per unit in the calls/time+costs menu.
2)
Caller groups can only take up to 15 entries, which is quite stupid since you have to make one entry for each number of a contact.
If somebody is a "friend", he's a friend from his office phone as well as from his home or mobile phone.
To come around this limitation, I wanted to add more groups, like "friends1", "friends2" etc. But I ran into the next limitation - you can only have a maximum of 10 caller groups.
3)
Is there any way to modify the text constants? My T68i is a german version and has some stupid breaks in the text, like "Anpass-ungen". Of course it displays them ALWAYS, not only on line breaks.
