> Bluetake BT009V Bluetooth Problems
Bookmark topic
I am trying to use the Bluetake BT009V USB dongle with winXP to connect to my p800. The drivers on the website version:1.3.2.7 dont appear to work. I got this device from Novatech. I got it working a bit, but not consistently using the drivers on the supplied CD, but these are out of date. Anyone else got any problems with this?
Am I just a victim of buying a cheap and nasty USB bluetooth device?

1.3.2.7 is the latest software version, make sure you have no COM port mis- allocations or you will continually have problems.

What do you mean COM port mis-allocations? And just because I have the widcomm drivers 1.3.etc, that surely doesnt necessarily mean it will work with my bluetooth USB adaptor. i downloaded the new drivers (the one you said) from the bluetake (my adaptor manufacturer) but the drivers still didnt work. hmmm.....losing hope.

Hmm.. there seems to be some problems with the Bluetooth serial port profile on the P800, which might be your problem. Probably will be solved in some new software version of the P800
