Sorry if I am in the wrong group but I am desperate for help. I live in the USA and am having trouble with my T68i - the reception is horrible. Heard a rumor that it is due to software problems - does anyone have any information about this???
Phone gets no GSM reception in New York or if one the phone, I am cut off constantly or very bad reception.
Please advise if anyone knows of any software problems which can be solved as I would hate to give the phone back for a Nokia 7210.

No software issue. It is just a badly engineered phone. Return it to the vendor and get a Nokia (if you can live without bluetooth.)

I've actually tried it with both AT&T and Cingular (in pasadena, CA). AT&T had better reception, but not good.

I had a similar issue and called SonyEricsson. I sent the phone and they installed newest version of software and the situation improved. (I have T-Mobile service). SE did not charge me.

I get great RF on my T68 in NY with TM service. You might have a problem with that phone. Call SE and send it in to be repaired or replaced.
