Has anyone used one of these? Worth while?

I just fixed a HCH-21 holder to my car with homemade power supply for charging. It is possible to fit HCE-12 to the holder.

Current users with hindsight? Advice?

Main problem is it looks like it is only popular in Switzerland and nowhere else (CHF 39/-).
