Elgar,

Does the black part of the cover has a good impact resistance? I ask this question because it seems that there is strange scratches on the right side of your phone!!!

Thanks

I don't think those are scratches... I think it's caused by greasy fingers...

Eladar, So is it possible to disable the operator name shown on the standby screen of T610?? Also, Is it possible to set the background on full screen in standby mode, as I see in the photos, there's 2 service lines, one on top and one on bottom, is it possible to have the full size backgrounds on screen? Thanks !

Hi Eldar, may I ask the following few questions?

1. Has the call list of T610 improved? T68i's is too troublesome and users need to wait a few seconds for it to "move". Also, no time will be available after a day. Also, no times of call can be read. Moreover, the time to load the call list is very slow in T68i. Has T610 improved the above?

2. Is the memory allocation improved over T68i's? In T68i, a 10KB picture will waste 20KB in the phone, a 20KB screen saver may even easte over 100KB in the phone. Is the case same as in T610?

3. Does the pre-loaded stuffs use the memory in the "2MB available for users"? Can I delete them? How many real free memory available for users if pre-loaded stuffs are not deleted?

4. I have read your great reviews and downloaded the video. However, I cannot really feel how fast is the response...... Is the phone has a quick response? How about compare with T68i, 7210 and other manufacturers' phones? This factor is very important for many users.

Thanks a lot for your great website and wonderful reviews.
I'm looking forward to reading the newer parts of the phone review.

Is it possible to set the background on full screen in standby mode

So far... No the only thing i have seen fullscreen is the games and the screensaver

On my phone the list shows faster than the T68i. still no time available after a day...

I guess SE saves the pictures in their own format together with the original format... which causes the bigger file size...
And they still do it on the T610 as far as i can see

3. Does the pre-loaded stuffs use the memory in the "2MB available for users"? Can I delete them? How many real free memory available for users if pre-loaded stuffs are not deleted?

I have a couple of ringtones and a couple of images that i cant delete which left me with about 1,7mb free... Cant remember how much when it's not deleted

Compared to my T68I its faster when it comes to menues, pictures and so on... Also a little bit in sms messages... But it's still not faster than a Nokia (sms)

PS my software version is: R1A081

Mayby some of these can be changed in a newer software (Just think what the software did to the sms function in T68...

UPDATE: Yes it is possible to have a fullscreen picture in standby mode but you have to make it as a theme
