Real internet with Opera, and HTML 3.2 (no frames support) with the built-in browser.

Depends on your provider. Your provider has to have a gateway that allows WEB and/or WAP to access either service.
Here in the Philippines, Globe Telecom has 2 gateways, one for the WEB, the other for WAP.
Some providers don't have WEB gateways.

The provider would be AT&T. They have the Siemens SX 56 or something like that that has live actual internet. So live internet on the P800 huh? That is sweet!

About web gateways. I guess you are thinking of GPRS only here. You can of cource use an ordinar internet account. Just like we all did back in the 90's with dial-up modems. One of these should work fine
Yahoo ISP by country

yes you can... but you'd then have to have your data subscription activated. this is also a separate service. then you can dial-in to your existing ISP (provided you're not on broadband) ...but unless your provider offers HSCSD... you'll be connected at the break-neck speed of... (drum roll please)
9600 kbps!!!!!!!!!
I think my provider stopped their dial-up service cuz I tried dialling into their number and it wouldn't answer. I don't have my data subscription activated so I can't try it with my back-up dial-up ISP. My GPRS is active, so I can access both WAP and WEB using Opera & the built-in browser on the P800.
