well i got quoted at least 2 weeks for the p800 on orange, time to cancel i think, by the time they'll get it they will prob cancel order due to handset subsidies adding £40(april 2003) oh well cancelled now, ordered elsewhere, oh i got told not to cancel 'nowhere in the uk has p800's any in the uk are imports and have no warrenty, so i surgest you steer clear of these dealers' orange and cpw??? imports - bollox - I think so. plus points of onestop - none, negative, none, they are just shite,

onestopphoneshop.co.uk have the ***WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ****. I bought a phone from them, there was no coverage in my area, i asked them to check the coverage before hand, they said they did and it was excellent. They wouldn't return it, even though singlepoint the service providers they were more than happy to cancel the contract as it was only 2 days after and I had 14 days under my statutory right, Single point were kind enough to reduce my contract from £30 a month to the £15 per month. Onestopphoneshop.co.uk were rude and completley out of line, so now I have a phone with no signal in my area, stuck with a 12 month O2 contract. I even said I was willing to change the network to one that would work and they wouldn't do it. The guy I spoke to was called Chris apparantly the manager.

SHAME ON YOU ONESTOPPHONESHOP

I did end up ordering a P800 from onestopphoneshop because at the time they were the only people I could find with free stock that was shipping for next daydelivery, I got one of their first batch of P800s. I phoned them up before ordering online and was a bit off - the guy was a bit short with me considering I was potentially a very good customer (expensive phone and £30+ a month spend). As I say - I did order in the end and received my P800 no probs.

does anyone know whether it is possible to change tariff option on O2 contracts after 4 months (or if possible even earlier) at onestop....shop? or is that only possible on orange contracts?

Thanks for your replies!

no you're only allowed to do that with orange, and after 3months i think with T-Mobile...however, i dont think T-Mobile do the p800 as of yet. O2 and Voda require you to stay on the same tariff for the whole 12 months, and plus the phone is locked. sucks huh!?! i was gonna get the phone thru O2, but backed out when i found out the reprecautions!
