I used the mp3 player on mine - to play a whole album (encoded at the lowest rate, natch) and it lasted LESS than a day! (course, I was showing it off to people at work too...!)

VERY annoying!

With heavy surfing, calls, SMS...one full day (20-24 hours).

Moderate surfing, calls, SMS ... 36 hours (two days, 8am day 1 until 8pm day 2)

Normal use, TIPICME, light calls... 3 full days (72 hours)

Well, thats not bad considering a pocket pc will last far less! Especially if you use Bluetooth on it and other features. My loox with bluetooth running lasts 2 to 3 hours. The P800 is a PDA and phone and you can get twice to three times as much out of it with all features running.

mines the same about 1 - 3 days depending on use the first day i got it i was useing it non stop and so i got about 6 hours out of it and it took 1 hour over the normal chargeing time becuase i couldnt put it down a good idea is a mobile charger u fit it with normal AA batterys and just charge it as you go around by pluging it into the bottem of the p800 just like the normal charger grate idea and only £9.99 (excluding batterys)

at my college were doing a test on mobile phones and batterys and we found that a nokia 8310 can last 17 days on standby without moveing or useing it and at warm conditions

and i got my p800 to 8 days! without moveing or useing at my room temp with one full charge! now thats long!
