Is it possible to transfer photos (taken with MCA-25 Communicam) FROM T300 TO PC using DCU-10 Datacable, rather than IR? If not I have just wasted £40!

the mca 25 plugs into the same slot as the data cable

Gadgetboytom, the photos have been transferred from the camera to the 'phone, and therefore the socket is free to be used with the datacable. I merely thought that the 'datacable' might enable the transfer of 'data' such as photos. If not, then it's a pretty shitty data-cable or a pretty shitty 'phone.

Hey M8 Ive got a serial cable (but now I use BT ) and I had a similar problem to you until I found this thread:

http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=20593&forum=16

Should not matter whether yer cable is USB or serial as mobile phone monitor should not care and USB should be faster

Dunno how you can view em tho as the thread is not all that descriptive and ive not tried it myself. Your cable is not useless tho M8 cos you can backup yer phone with it jus' in case it F**K'S UP!!

SE dont really provide an easy way to transfer pics from yer phone to PC using a cable. Only really via BT and IR.

Get a BT dongle M8, mines a bluetake and cost me £33! ...ill never go back to using IR now and you can control yer comp with yer phone using pc control!!

Hope this bit 'O' advice has been useful

(BTW I have an MCA25)
