Ok, this may be me watching too much X-Files here, but I think something is fishy here.

I have studied marketing for some time and marketing is a big part og my work. When I was at uni, we started discussing the use of internet forums in the marketing of a product. Think of it, the most valuable consumers located at one place. Now there is something called "viralmarketing" where you start a thread on these forums and it spreads by "word-of-mounth". From one, too two, from two too four, from four too eight. These pic's DEADMAN started publishing, have started popping up in online news site's like www.itavisen.no etc. So this thing is working. DEADMAN is smart, because he does not publish ALL the pictures at once, but contributes to the discussions and publish them to heat things up. COME ONE, if you have a digital camera, there is no difference in taking one or fifteen pic's and publishing them. It a piece of cake.

I think, at least, DEADMAN has something to do with SE because he is giving SE more written word then eny comercial could buy. HELL he might even have gotten the T68i for free if he helped them market the new phone. Ericsson have done this before, given new phones to people called "group leaders" (basically people who other people follow....)

Ok, so am I that far off base. I don't think so..... DAMN I WANT THAT NEW PHONE.

PS: By the way, Nokia have done this before. Drummed up a lot of talk on their new phone, then told all the shops that they have only a "limited" number available. People went ape shit, even though there were plenty of phones... Yezzzz, we fall for it everytime AND IT'S FØCKING BRILLIANT if you ask me.....

What you say about viral-marketing is very true. But Deadman is just a normal guy, if you ask me.

The article just say what we all know here, nothing new. It also says SonyEricsson have yet to announce the release of this phone.

DEADMAN may be an ordinary guy, but he should atleast get a bonus from SonyEricsson, hehe..

I agree. I have no idea if someone here is working for SE but using these forums to market new products is a brilliant idea. There are a lot of pics of t68i around for example here:www.aperfectaudience.com/t68i.html This post was posted from a T65

Deadman must be an ordinary guy because an official SonyEricsson Marketing staff member would _never_ release pictures of a new product showing Pamela giving blowjobs

Good point there about Pamela giving head, but it could be a decoy. No seriously, perhaps this is all in the the marketing strategy from SonyEricsson. If these pis are not sanctioned by SonyEricsson, they must be pissed (just a bit...)....

Gaston I've got the original photo, but decided to erase the best

Og, and I don't work for Ericsson. Two of my friends work, but they don't know about this phone much.
