I know im gonna end up taking it back, but not until monday night

So is there anything I can try? Basically when I put it on charge, the RED/GREEN light comes on (sometimes) but the phone will not power up. Ive held the button in for 30 secs and nothing. However if i take the battery off, and try turning it on after reconnecting the batt, the phone shudders?

hmm not sure m8.. the phone does shuddr when it's switched on but if the display doean't come up then i dont know. try pm'ing Cytech as he may know what the problem is.

alll i can say is when buring a phone always get them to turn it on and let u have a go first before leaving the shop. i found this out after buying a few dodgy t68's.

i hope u get it sorted or get a brand spanking new p800

Sad to hear that is "so many" units with the same error.
Never heards of these kinds of problems before, like on older (Ericsson) phones.
