Well, i got my P800 today, and i instantly installed the two games delivered with the phone. Then i switched the phone off and on some time after. Now my menu has disappeared! Only the call List button is left. I need help! How can i reset my phone and start over again?

The menu in the P800 flip closed mode atomaticly dissepears when you´re not using it. Just touch the jogdial and the menu should reappear. If it don´t try switching the phone off and on again.

If you have made a backup, try to restore the phone.

I can't. At first I have Win98 installed an in second i didn't make a backup. I have the phone for 3 hours now. I need some thing like a button combination to reset the phone to it's first configuration... Isn't there any trick?

Jogdial up * Jogdial down Jogdial down * Jogdial down *
-This will take you to the hidden service menu, select number 5 -Format internal disk.
Do this in flip closed mode.

The same happend to me last week. In fact apart from call list no other built in functions were visible in the applications menu, only stuff that I had installed!
I used filemanager to scan through the Z drive and found something which I ran that fixed it. I was sure it was called SETUPUAI or something like that but I really can't find it right now.
See if you can find that and if so post back here because I really would like to know what it was that I ran! (I was just boarding a BA flight and had already had a couple of bacardis so could hardly see the screen as I didn't have my glasses on!).

Is this Format Internal disk the same as Master Reset
within the control panel ?
