Just a little thought which does not make any difference

But anyway: why SonyEricsson does not make matt-glass displays anymore like they used to do it several years ago?
As we all know, the phone display has a bad habit to turn greasy. But with matt-glass displays there is not such a problem. Also that matt-glass is much more "scratch-proof" than the ordinary glossy-glass display.
I have one really old Ericsson (GH 174) - but the matt-glass of display looks like new!
I know, maybe that matt-glass display does not seem so vain, but it can really resist to greasiness and scratches.
So, dear SonyEricsson, please make some news phone with good old matt-glass displays. Or just make phones glossy as well as matt-glass and let the customer choose. Just like you let choose between colors.

Too bad that there are no new mobile phones with matt-glass display yet. Why? Mobile phone is not TV, which stands in certain place and you watch it from distance. But you have to put mobile phone against your ear and carry with you.
Am I the only one who is dreaming about scratch-proof and grease-proof matt-glass display?

i think it cost more, it would also make the phone heavyer, and i'm not sure that it will be easy to replace it, also if a glass is broken, you can get hurt.

I'm sorry. I wrote matt-glass, but I meant matt-plastic (if it is correct to say in this way).
In other words: usual display cover, but with matt surface.

It was possible to use matt-glass on older phones because they had low resolution and big pixels- about 1mm so it even improved display look. But used on newer hi-res lcd it would make the picture look blurry. There are other solutions- different types of plastic which are scratch and grease resistant (you can see it on nokia 3x10 models) while my t610 gives me headaches with this.
