when i look in my sms folder i see names on it from sim card, not phone book - this sux !


i called the local SE service and the guy told me that this is because of my sim card, which is old and there are some incompatibilities .......


i bought new smart sim and the problem is the same !!!!!


can some body help me ?


i would like to see names from phone when wathing sms folder !!!!!

Check your desktop application i.e Outlook. It could be that the mobile phone number of your contacts are not under mobile but under another heading , like home or office.

i would be very glad to use only phone memory but HOW TO CHOOSE THAT ?

what are duplicated entries ?


names that are in the sim AND in the phone ?

just go to contacts and on the top right side you will see "ALL" or "Sim Phone book" just tap on it and select all to show all phone contacts

For example, when u have a phone number stored in phone as JohnS, and also stored in SIM as JSmith,You will get SMS identification as JSmith for the number. It's to mean deleting the JSmith from SIM memory. This message was posted from a R520
