anyone who has had a similar situation please reply! I own a t68i which had power problems and i couldnt hear anyone when making a call. I had bought the phone from The Link on O2 tariff. i also took out a coverplan which to me was a smart idea.eh no! 6 weeks ago i gave the phone to The Link without any battery. after weekly visits to the The Link shop i had excuses that the phone went to mastercare then sweden then mastercare. after all this i received my phone back. not only was the phone chipped but it had a battery with chips in it. The Link claimed the phone had been sent mastercare then Celestica. however Celestica Receipt claimed there was no battery with the phone when it was sent back to mastercare. not only this but the receipt claimed a new unit had been sent out. The Link couldnt explain this so they Blamed celestica for the damage and no excuse for where the battery had come from. fixing a phone that faulty is not Celestica's policy they simply send out a new phone. The Link claim reburished parts are sometimes used and the new unit might just be the chip board. but again the phones shell isnt my original case and the link have no excuse. i am currently in contact with celstica to find out whether or not this is in fact the phone they sent to mastercare. something doesnt add up. please reply with any tips or advice or similar situations with The Link,ericsson or celestica.

A word to the wise....
Had you purchased your phone from Carphone Warehouse and taken their insurance cover, your phone would have been replaced by the retailer within 24 hours. Please please please do not deal with the Link or any of the Dixons Group as the previous post so rightly says. As soon as they've got your money, they're not so interested any more.
Why choose to give your money to a bunch of con artists??
