I see at least two faint black vertical lines when i turn on built in camera. it remains in the same place even if i move the camera around. it appears when i take pictures indoors(average lighting). these lines are present when i check the pictures in my desktop computer. I also compared it with other p800 phones and they dont seem to have the same problem. Any ideas ? Can you check out your phones? It's more obvious in low lighting conditions and is almost invisible outdoors under bright sunlight.

Thanks

found a different bug:

if the camera doesn't detect just enough light for taking a pic, and the screen will go between the logo and actual picture display, it will crash the phone app. turn off & on to make it work again.

Ive not seen either of those bugs yet and I've tried to find them too. Takes pictures in the dark without problems (other than the fact you you cant see anything!)

Are you running on the latest rom? Have you installed any software that could be considered 'dodgy'?

I've had the same problem twice now. I've gone to take a picture but the SE logo remains in the frame window. Pressing the capture button the shutter sound is heard but no picture is taken. Switching the phone off & on again seems to clear the problem.

same here too - twice in four days - SE logo in the camera window. Reboot and the problem is solved (until next time).

This problem with the black lines sounds like you have a faulty ccd display- you may have two thin lines of dead pixels- take it to a se service point This message was posted from a T68i
