How does this compare to the original Bluespoon and more importantly the Sony Ericsson HBH-60... as I have one on order.
I was hoping to see something new asthetic-wise with the new Bluespoon, that gold is ugly IMO.

Digital is quite different from the normal Bluespoon :

2 microphones and a different design are the things you can see on the Digital from the outside,..and NO,..we dont use the Jawbone-microphone on Bluespoon.

The Algorithms (the way Bluespoon works,..to put it the more simple way) are, should I say, the "heart" of the Digital

On the microphone part :
Emphazised Voice Focus.
Duo (double) Noise cancelling system.
Pseudo Boom microphone,..meaning it makes a Virtual boom, where it operates.

The speaker part :
Audio Gain control processing.
Adaptive audio filtering,...the filtering of sound changes.
Adaptive environmental noise cancelling,..meaning depends on surroundings.

Digital's noise cancelling/filtering works a bit like this :
If you are in a very noisy area : Noise-cancelling will be aggressive, and "hit hard".
If you are in a "low-noise area" noise cancelling will be smooth/not aggressive at all.

It will adapt all the time to your surroundings.

Feel free to download our PDF from the website :
http://www.nextlink.to
(its on the frontpage, to your right, called Digital Download)

The gold and silver are the same,..its just a color-change. A lot of people love the gold, hehe...it does look very good I think IRL
The gold is the WARM one,..the silver the COOL one.

I did two different ones,..based on former experiences,..and the fact that we are not alike,...me for instance, I have red-brownish beard and gold-brown glasses,..and also goldish sunglasses,..so the Gold version looks ok on me.
Around the world people have different taste,..e.g. jewelery,..some like silver, some prefer gold.
Not too much black color on them,..the blue part is much more Nextlink logo/"boomerang-styled" than the current Bluespoon, and "drop" lower on the Spoon.
We didnt want to do Bluespoons that looked too freaked out or too sci-fi like,...they should resemble the lines of the current Spoons, but still look newer.

Jan

Thanks a lot for all of that input, Jan. I had every intention of buying a Bluespoon, but now I am definitely getting one of these. Very nice.

You guys did an incredible job on this earpiece. Great work, IMO.

And personally, I love the gold. That's the one for me.

Your welcome,...well, I dont know yet what different versions will be out,..but we got different stuff up our sleeves, hehe.

Standard (Silver) Bluespoon is clearly the best selling Bluespoon.

Silver and gold will be the first ones,..dont know if there will be others in the Digital series,..depends of course

And thanks

regards

JH67,

Any reviews available on the web on the digital model so far?

Does the Digital Bluespoon work to reduce "wind" noise? You know when the wind is blowing or when you are cycling, mic tends to pick up the noise of the wind blowing over the mic. Is the noise reduction able to reduce or eliminate this noise?

Thanks! Can't wait to pick up a Digital Bluespoon!
