Can someone list the advantages and disadvantages for both the S/E HCB30 and Parrot CK3000? I currently have the CK3000 in my car and I was pretty happy with it when I had my T68... but I have a P800 now and it will not work. I am debating buying an update cable for the CK3000 which may or may not fix the issues with the P800. The alternative is to buy an HCB30... any ideas?

-Shaun

If you buy the cable (www.mobiland.co.uk - £9) and upgrade to the latest version (2.41) then your hands free will work again but you must make calls via the phone (you can end calls via the button).

Apparently a new parrot version is due out any day now which cures a lot of these issues.

My CK3000 is 2.41. My T68i is R3C. There is still no Wordspotting menu. To place AND end the calls, I have to press a button.

I had a T68 and CK3000 v2.11 and it all worked!

Apparently the next parrot software fixes a few T68 issues.

That was said when 2.40 was released, I remember -- "Wordspotting will be re-enabled in the next version". 2.41 came out, and no Wordspotting.

Actually, 2.41 comes with another, more hideous problem -- after I turn off the ignition, the control box forgets all the adjustments I make through Accessories | Parrot Menu | Params menu. Every time I turn on the ignition again and use CK3000, the volume is back at deafening 5/7 level. I confirmed that it's a 2.41 problem with another CK3000 owner.
