I am I trying to send all my phone book details from my T68 to my P800. Its been more than 2 hours and they are still transfering, having reached 6500k!

Just 2 questions, is this normal, and how long should it take?

Thank you

Edit: The transfered finished while I was typing my previous post, but now I cannot find anything that was transfered!

Help!

Shouldn't take that long at all. When I did that it took, ooh, one minute or so. Try sending with infrared..... This message was posted from a WAP device

My T68 couldn't pick up my P800 on bluetooth but the P800 could see the T68, i gave up with that. I ended up using infrared.

Try going to your Messages then there should be a folder there called Beamed. It all should be in there

Sent mine via BT with no probs, took bout a minute for about 150contacts. Wouldn't recommend IR tho coz it's slower than BT, my mrs used IR for hers and it took bout 10mins. All files received via BT or IR are automatically saved in Messages/Beamed, u then have to view them to save them to the right place

When it completed it said that the memory on the phone was running low. Also, I checked the messages beamed folder and it said that there was nothing there. How can I check the memory of the phone, and was size should the phonebook be from the T68?

tried it today with t68m

t68m recognized mine, but his popped up as unknown device although he had the ID set correctly. they did 'talk' to each other without a problem and very fast, just the 'unknown device' display in the BT list was annoying

Make sure you have set your bluetooth settings to "discoverable" and not "on"
If this doesn't work restart the phones.
If this doesn't work try pairing the phones. Since the p800 can find the t68i....
