> TipicME and T-Mobile US
Bookmark topic
Hi,
I just bought a P800 here in the US and I am using T-mobile's GPRS service (not the small t-zone $2.99 package).
I have been trying to use TipicME but I can't get it to connect at all, it never changes from 0%. Is there maybe a different APN that I need to be using as I only have one set of settings for T-Mobile whereas in the UK I had 2, one for WAP and one for IP.
Thanks for any help,
Dimitri

I got Tip to work for me in the US using T-Mobile. If your internet browser is working chances are you probably need to re-install your software. I got a trial version of Just Yak about a month ago, but it was very archiac. I couldn't find a .sis file to download at the time either. I had to code my own GUI with my developers kit. I'll check them out again and see what the upgrades are.

How much data is sent while using tipicme and justyak?
Do you have any examples of how much data is used to log on and send a couple of messages?
Does it matter how many people you have on your contacts list?
Does it take a lot of data to stay online for a long time?

hey there,
is TipICME a free product? How does it compare to Justyak? I just installed Justyak but it gives you 20 free messages I think.
