You know what it's like, you sometimes get calls late at night. Anyway I put the P800 in silent mode.

But the Alarm didn't work this morning to wake me up !!!!

Anyone else having the same problem ?

why don't you just put the alarm on and leave it on loud or whatever, then just switch off the phone!! it should wake u up in the morning, and your mysterious night-time callers will not have to wait a few minutes for the phone to ring out before going to answerphone???

The general answer to this problem is to put the phone into flight mode and turn silent off

With either method, I won't know if anyone has tried to call unless they leave a message.

if they don't leave a message then it probably wasn't important!

also note that the alarm won't function if the alarm is off hence the flight mode solution

I think this is a bug, as silent mode really is silent in all ways.

No alarms
No speaker phone

Also noticed (and i'm comparing to T68 here), if I insert a headset I would expect the phone to ring, but again it's silent here as well.
