I have created my background gifs using the My Picture software. They are about 5K.
I can link the T68 with my laptop ready to receive.
Can anyone tell me how I actually get the files from the laptop to the phone.
The SonyEricsson site just says to use the PC's IR software.

Yes. This is so simple it is rediculous!
Acitvate the IR port on your phone, (Connect>Inrared> On) and align it's infrared port to the computers infrared port and you should hear a Sci Fi sound... and and icon should appear on your computers disply. Simply drag and drop your image onto the icon.

Or just find the file you want to transfer in explorer...right click and choose send to recipient. There'll be an option to send to IR recipient.

Thnx guys.
The first suggestion may have been easy but didn't work - looking at my colleagues machine, he had an appropriate place to dump the file, but this does not appear to be available on Win 95 (which I have).
The 'Send to' worked a treat.
Yet again this board has come up trumps
