Got my P800 at last....but was a little dissapointed at the screen i wish it wasn't limited to 4096 colours....then pictures & videos would look more vibrant and less dithered

On a side note how the hell do u set up ur own sound alerts for sms?

nice one....another thing isnt it annoying the way u have to set the wallpaper where havin to go in to the control panel why cant u just set it when in the picture browser.......unless i'm missin something!

I read somewhere (possibly a magazine) that the p800 hardware is capable of 65k colours (16bit) but the OS only uses 4k colours (12bit) and that it may be possible for 3rd party software to use the full range.

I am uncertain of the validity of this though.

There's a faster way to set the wallpaper... just click on the Battery Icon at the lower right of the screen.

yes thats the only thing im not happy with, 7650 has 4k colours and theres no problems with that! i mean u would of thought they would choose the best format to display colours!?
