Hello

I connected my P800 to my Mac with Bluetooth. I can send files and such but is it possible to dial numbers and write sms from your address book within MacOSX?
It doesn't seem to work for me. Anyone?

It's not compatible yet...
Neither is iSync

But the new firmware should bring improvements.

Have had a P800 for 2 months and finally got isync working. Thanks to Esato! As you probably know there is hack that is bounding around now.

As for the address book bluetooth sms stuff. This does not work at the mo. A friend of mine has a T68i thou and it bloody works perfectly!!!!!

Apple just got iSync working for the p800 but its very buggy.. The easiest way to get your contacts on the p800 is still exporting them as v2.1 vCards and sending the file to the phone via bluetooth.

The SMS and Dialing part of the contacts app doesn't work yet, though Im not sure why, according to the bluetooth-dev list, it uses rfcomm and at commands which the p800 supports.

Actually isync seems ok now. Apart fom the first time you sync it deletes some of your contacts!!! after that it appears fine. even the calander and to do's sync - if you use the hack i meantioned above.
