I've gone through all the searches but cannot find an "idiot proof" way of cleaning and putting a Brando Screen protector on!

If you haven't guessed yet, I am the idiot (!) as I cannot get the protector sufficiently clean to put on my new baby (P800!).

Could somebody please post something that will help me with a step by step guide, explain all tools and methods used?

My main problem is that it has dust on it, and I have used soapy water, scotch tape, and seems nothing is helping?

So, please help.....anyone?!

Hiya Ric, I had the same problem. I got dust and some marks on the sticky side and then completely screwed it up! In the ned I had to buy another one.

I learnt my lesson though! So this time I made sure the screen was completely clear of dust by using a spectacle cleaner cloth under a strong light.

Using the light you can see specks of dust more easily. I thought about removing the casing/keypad and then wiping the dust off that way. But I managed it without doing that.

Some people get the dust off outside or in a totally dust free environment.

Z.

Glad I'm not the only one... Currently waiting for my two replacements. Will be more careful next time (though I wasn't exactly careless before.)

I washed the brando under running water to get rid of the lint. After a quick dry (in a WINDLESS area), I cleaned the P800 screen with a lint-free cloth and glass cleaner, then applied the Brando. No lint, no issues.

I'm scared to put mine on now, do u think a wipe for LED and laptop screens would be ok to use on the screen of the p800?
wait so u cant take off the brando later and wash it and put it back on?

That wipe should be fine, and yes you can remove the brando and wash it. I've done that 3 times already.

Use light tack masking tape on the sticky side of the Brando & the P800 screen which gets rid of all dust. You obviously have to do this in a dust free room or outside when not windy or you might get dust on again.
