there used to be a sofware that converts amr files to wav files for the PC from http://www.totonox.com. try checking their download page.

http://www.ericsson.com/mobilityworld/developerszonedown/downloads/tools/messaging/AMR_Converter_v_12.zip. This is believed to be the original source of the proggie in totonox according to this page

There is a new AMR converter from MIKSOFT at www.miksoft.8m.com. Its name is Mobile AMR converter and it is quite fast. It can convert amr to wav, wav to amr, wavs to sp and sp to waves. It can do exactly what Sony Ericsson AMR converter can do, but with a windows graphical user interface. I hope that i helped.
