I'm thinking of buying A Jabra BT300 headset I can get one for 110€ but I want to know about your experiences. does it wear comfort how is the talk and standby time. and comperission with other devices in the same price range.

But I guess, like the HBH 60 this new headset will be obsolete compared to the digital bluetooth headsets coming on the market shortly - like the SOUND ID and the Bluesppoon digital??

The newer "digital" headsets have built-in digital processing to clean up the quality of the audio. Specifically, the new digital blootooth, from what I hear, will have two microphones on it. One directed to pick up your voice, the other directed to pick up ambient sound. These two signals are compared and ambient noise filtered out of the signal.
Again, based on my understanding, this allows someone to use the bluetooth in "high" noise areas, such as outside on a windy day, driving in a car with the window down, etc. Someone from another forum has communications with bluetooth and I believe it was stated that the new digital bluetooth is designed for people who need a headphone that work in "loud" environments, and that otherwise people will be served just as well with the regular bluetooth. Also, I think the new digital bluetooth is expected to cost over $350.

Bluetooth isn't a company making headsets - it's the 2.4Ghz wireless standard! Bluespoon, however, have made their digital version of their headset now, and you are correct in saying BengalBoy on HoFo is in contact with them, and has tried to organise an early shipment to some members as beta testers, at between $250-300 each.

Well I work in a television newsroom. It can get noisy sometimes when a big story breaks but it's hardly an industrial factory. I've been continually disappointed with conventional bluetooth headsets I've tried (Hbh 15, 20, 30, Jabra BT 200 and Bluespoon Panther). They have all suffered from poor sound quality. Personally, I can't wait for the benefits of bluetooth digital. I'd love to be a beta tester if that was possible?
