Hi people, I'm new to posting here so I jsut wanted to ask a serious question. I bought a T300 last year, having previously owned a T20s ( T300 kind of put it to shame) Now i find my 256 colour screen looks poor compared to all the colour phones on the market now. P800, as I am sure you will all agree, is a pretty great looking phone and I think i might want to upgrade to it. I think I am right in saying that it has 4096 colours? ( Please correct me If I am wrong ) and I wanted to ask people who own a P800 whether it is value for money and if they think I should wait for another phone to come along soon which has a higher resoloution screen with more colour? Plus, do you think the price of the P800 will be coming down anytime soon??

If u r asking if to buy P800 for 4096 colour screen then i suggest u spare the money, and buy something else. With P800 u pay for a lot more than a colour screen, and since u don't seem to be interested in other features it would be waste of money. U can always wait for t610 or go for some asian clamshell phone with 65k screen. But if theres a chance you will use some of p800 features, then its best value for the money.

Yes, don't buy a P800 just for the screen colours, its the functions of the phone your paying for.
Best for pictures at moment are phones like the Panasonic GD87, Orange SPV, that Sharp Vodafone Live phone (forget the name) possibly the 3G phones.

woops.........don't get me wrong, i have looked at all of the features of the P800...and they are excellent...the screen is the thing i want to know about last. Does it do the applications justice??

Good enough for everything except displaying photographs in good quality. Just no comparrison with 65K screen of iPAQ3970 PDA
