I'm having problems sending MMS from p800 to other (non p800) mms phone (both phones on orange).
Simple MMS (1 picture taken with p800, plus some text) sends ok from p800 but are not retreivable on other phone (panasonic gd87 in this case). The message is notified on the GD87 but a "retrieve error" is returned when attempting to view the message.
MMS from GD87 to p800 works fine.
I've even forwarded a message (originally from the gd87) back to it from the p800 and that works fine.
I can only conclude that the picture format (possible the size?) is the problem.
any suggestions appreciated

It is possible that the size is wrong.
I've read that some phones can only display images which are smaller than the screen. I think it was samsung I read this about.
But "retrive error" would not be a logical error message if so...
Could it be that the mms from your p800 is too large. Some companies limit the size of the mmses....

I think so to - so i've done some experimenting.
I sent a few more messages at different resolutions and basically the 160x120 and 320x240 resolutions work fine and the problem occurs with the 640 x 480 resolution. (Oh, I also tried one of the bundled animations which also send OK!)
I'm guessing that this is a limitation of the phone (i.e. the GD87 in this case) and not network limits.
It begs the question - do different mms phones have different maximum picture sizes or is there a universal maximum picture size (except for the p800 that I am assuming can receive 640x480 pictures)?
