> remove text in alarm combo box

when setting an alarm, there is a combo box that lists the various texts u would like displayed when the alarm rings e.g. "Wake Up!".
problem is, i accidentally keyed in a blank space twice and now i have 2 additional entries in that combo box both of which are blank.
how do i remove them??? any idea where the data file/text file is stored?

There must be someone out there who knows, I have a couple of blanks and some uncomplete text that needs getting rid off - especially one that my mate did for an alarm saying "Time For A W**K"!

Yes, but you are still left with a blank row.

Seems the same problem as with calendar entry location. You can add easily a new location but can not delete it . I tried to look for the file where the location is stored but could not find.. Not any IT man either.

Hi
Just click on the word and then delete in in the next screen or set the alarm for 1 minutes time then click done when the alarm goes off.
cheers

I had a similar proble, with my old P800... and even though it wasn't a big deal after a while it really did annoy me.
Thinking about it now I reckon that the combo box may only be able to hold a certain number of options, so how about typing in new 'valid' entries such as "wake up", "Lunch", etc and seeing if the older entries are overwritten.
If this fails then it may be possible to find where these entries are actually stored in the system (i.e. in a systems file somewhere) and modify that file directly.
Hope this helps,
Mrs H
xx
P.S. I haven't tried either of these as I've been extra careful since getting my p910.
