I inserted my p800 memory stick Duo using the adaptor to my TRV-740 Sony digital video camera. I stored a short Video, but when I put the memory stick back to my p800. I can't locate the Video files that I have taken. Is there anyway to see the vidoes strored on the memory stick taken by the Digital Video camera

Unless that camera stores video as MP4 you won't have much luck.

Well most Sony cameras do record in MPEG4 but you won't be able to locate the movies on your P800 as you can only view files and folders in the P800 folder on the memory stick.

This isn't the problem.
When you use the Memstick (via the adapter) on a card reader, you'll notice that before you see the file structure, you have to go through a directory that is specific for the P800, I can't remember it exactly, but it's stored something like :
c:\p800\document\media files\video
So when you stored it from your camera, it will look something like :
c:\camera\document\media files\video
Your P800 can't see inside the directory as you can't navigate before the p800 directory.
To get round this, you will need a card reader and then move the file to the correct location.

From where to get this file manager, the software attached with the p800 CD doesn't show other files.

I'm using an ASUS 6-in-1 card reader in my PC, this shows the entire file structure.
You can't use a file reader and then connect to the P800 as this is already locked further down in the file structure. Like I said earlier, you can't navigate to the root of the memory card.
What I mean is this, on the card itself you will see :
c:\p800\documents\media files\video
Via the P800, the same directory is :
c:\documents\media files\video
Therefore you can't get to the root directory.

that sucks...
Couldn't they make a file manager capable of seeing the root? Or is this a hardware limitation?

Hardware, as the P800 can only navigate within it's own hardware directory.
When i'm home tonight, i'll update this thread with the exact paths.
I found out about all this a few months back, I was intending to buy a Sony MEX-5DI Car headunit that played MP3's on Memsticks and I read all about the problems then.
