I would recommend the TDK dongle but Bluetooth is flaky on the P800
This message was posted from a P800

I'll agree with that, the P800 bluetooth is flakey. I have a Belkin (I know, naff !!!) 100m USB dongle, it states errors when setting up a partner ship and I can't connect to it (at least my PC says so), but it works, I can sync and surf the internet via Opera and Bluetooth.
Make sure you buy a bluetooth dongle that you know is going to work, or better still wait until the software update is available.

Ok, if we're going to do this again...
I have a Sony BA1 bluetooth adaptor which is really small and fits in USB. It comes with bluespace which is Sonys software for handling the connections. I got the Sony one because I have a VAIO laptop and so far it has been flawless.

TDK works very well, MSI doesn't
I have just installed the latest TDK software and drivers to my new built workstation and everything works well. File transfers and phone sync work fine

Tecom dongle works perfectly well with the P800 and so does a Toshiba bluetooth module.
Bluetooth is NOT flaky on the P800, bluetooth is just flaky in general. I have never had a problem with setting the bluetooth up on the
P800.

@Zoidy
Which software do you use with your Tecom dongle? I'm using a BT3030 with Anycom software. It kinda works, but the set up was a pain in the a$$.

hello,
am i right in saying that there are only 2 chipsets for usb dongle's and whether it works or not depends on the chipset you use.
