How the hell do u free up memory as my P800 has locked me out contacts, if i click on contacts just gives me an error msg Out Of Memory.....

Tried turning phone off, take off battery nothing works.....i have about 7.5mb of internal memory free and about 1mb on the card...lookin at what programs are running using Switcher and its just the minimum???

Ok a bit of a joke but the only way i could figure to get my fone workin again was to master reset!

I didn even get a chance to back up contacts a pain i must say!

I had the same problem. I had to re-sync to get the data back. Did you figure out how to fix it? Mine happened overnight, I woke up in the morning and no contacts! Annoying.

i just had the exact same problem, i click on contacts and it says no memory, i even turn off and on the phone, same shit, f**k... i had to master reset, wtf? its annoying... shit, next time i shall do a backup and restore it so i dont have to go thru all this trouble... im not sure why it says that...

I had the same at the weekend and only master reset would fix it. I was also getting some sort of kernal error in some synch program on the phone. I've done a backup too now...

Its funny how we always say we will do a backup NEXT TME!... when will we learn to do a backup FIRST TIME!

yeah that error was "Phonebook Sync" or something similar to that... hehe this time im prepared... i did a backup already, shit... i hope the backup keeps all my settings, internet/messaging accounts and sms, and ringtones and voice tags that i assign to each of my contacts as well...

Not sure if thats a trick question but...

um... I suppose it would be when you have set up the phone with all the settings that you want to not have to put in again if you have to do a master reset or you lose your phone and get a replacement etc...
