Answer: Because many of us have equipment from different manufacturers which use incompatible (by direct means) technology.
Its surely not that hard to understand?

I agree with masseur and edX, anything that will enhance support for such a great phone makes me happy. I have a CF jacket for my HP 5450 so I will be able store information across both platforms.

I'd buy it if I see it - I don't believe in pre-ordering.

You definitely need one.
BTW, it's okay to pre-order on P800er.com because they ask for only your email to contact you once stock is available. No payment required and this is something that I like about them over Brando.
