You need to download the file manager app. ? from my-symbian.com ? You can then look for the file, which will be in c:/documents/voice . Click on it "Do" - then save as wav wherever you like.

The really annoying thing about the voice recorder is it doesnt work with the flip closed! So you can't set it up (flip open), start a recording, close the flip, slip it into a pocket and record a conversation.
Which I actually needed to do the other day and I thought I'd give the P800 a go. Bit dissapointing seeing as a lot of other apps work when you close the flip (e.g. the music player)

Alot of things should be accessible from the jogdial with flip closed.
I would say that Bluetooth-ON/OFF and voice recorder are definitly things that should be accessible when the flip is closed.

i've had my p800 for about a month now, and the only time the flip was on was when it was in the box.....its just look so much better without the flip, plus....it is easier to get access to all the apps.

Thanks a bunch!!! I've installed the File Manager and I could save the voice memo files (WAV) into my PC. However, I COULD NOT delete the files on my P800!!!!
The File Manager has this "Delete" function but a file must be selected first. When I clicked on a file though, my P800 jumped to another "Audio" application in which I could no longer have access to the "Delete" function.
Anyone knows how get around this problem????? Thanks.
