and I'm trying to figure out wether I have the most recent software.
They said that the T68m was essentially a t68i but gold.
I've gotten the software version, and wondered if someone would be able to tell me if it the most recent.
The display shows:

You sort of got screwed. Essentially, the T68m is the same as the T68i, but the firmware that comes on the M is VERY old and frankly, it flat out sucks. There's methods of upgrading the firmware yourself, which I would only recommend to experts. The most reliable way would be to go to a Sony Ericsson service point and have them upgrade it for you.
The latest firmware for the T68m is R7A013, which has a million and one improvements over the R2 that you have.
