Not sure but I think there is a post somewhere that says they are the same.
My Ericsson dealer told me normally they have a "m" version at launch, then "mc" with the "c" stands for Chinese language.
Here in Malaysia, we have "m" and "mc".

There is no difference, your phone says T68 below the keypad, right!
If you take off the battery you will see where the barcode is on the phone it's self, it say's T68m!
So there is no difference!!!!
Hope this helps,

the "m" version is the standard latin version (with T9), while the "mc" version is the one with chinese character capabilities (without T9).
but, here's a curiousity: arnoldC has an "mc" phone but his phone was upgraded by a local service point and they were able to remove the chinese text capability and "restore" the T9 functions. therefore his "mc" phone now works like a "m" model.

hello..
t68m units can read chinese words.... thats what our units can do. asian version has 3versions the Latin 1, latin 2 and latin 3 (latin 3 is the MC)
if ur t68m cannot read chinese words, maybe you have a european version of t68m
