Do any of you guys know if leaving the 'Magic Word' function enabled on my P800 will appreciably affect battery charge. I'd like to leave it on but if its going to drain the charge then I'll disable it when I'm not using it.

Any advice would be welcome.

yes, it does drain battery faster because the phone is listening to you all the time (big brother?).

My problem with it was that I could not find any magic phrase that would work 1:1. I mean one that it won't pick up on its own. Any type of phrase I pick would get occasionally picked up even when it wasn't said (e.g., when I was laughing or doing something else and then hearing the beeps of it detecting the magic word).

HAHAHA! I know what you mean! I had the Magic Word function on the whole day one time and my best friend was wondering why I kept on ringing him. Apparently, no matter how complicated my Magic Word is, it gets triggered by normal, day-to-day conversations. Oh well
