Hi all,
I have downloaded ring tones for my P800 (from
http://www.mobiledia.com/) but the volume is far to low and I can barely hear them unless I am in a quiet room.
Does anyone know how I can increase the volume of polyphonic ring tones once they are on P800.
Volume of the phone is set to highest yet still cannot hear ring tones, yet my mates with Nokia have the loudest ring tones which is really annoying as I have the best phone in the world but cannot hear tones!!!!
Someone help?

I have had the same problem with the preinstalled polyphonic ringtones on my P800 -- the only one with reasonable volume is the "Old-fashioned" ringtone. Everything else is simply too faint to be usable.
Anyone figure this out?

Its obvious u dont know the historz of it.thats the proa with it!they r too feble!they r nice,the sound is awesome but u can miss calls.nuthing2do except4stronger loudspeakers..on future models.if nokia can do it se gotta..

I have the same problem with my T300. I now rely on the vibration instead. The ringtones are way too quiet. I admit Nokia is doing a better job at the loudness of the ringtones - but then they have a speaker which can be used as a speakerphone as well as for ringtones - SE still uses the traditional monophonic speaker alongside the polyphonic speaker which I personally don't prefer.

But the speaker itself has a max - and that max happens to be quieter than Nokia's!

Im almost sure this would work. I have never heard of a speaker itself being able to controle the volume of itself but i could be wrong, (works in a music industry) I do have some poly's that are very low, but I have also got some that come across very high and you can even hear the bass kick. So this leads me to belive that you would be able to add volume onto the midi, im thinking that someof the polys may have been edited from where i downloaded them.

Regarding the phone, i donīt think itīs the speaker itself as much as the "amplifier" in the phone, i have .MMF files in my phone (Siemens S55) that sound crappy due to too high level.
