Just a short post to warm everyone about the P800.
Last night i accidentially let my P800 drop on a tiled floor in my house, the fall which i thought nothing of smashed the screen on my P800 (a huge crack right up the middle of the screen).
I almost wet myself in worry about this! I just got the phone a few weeks back.
Because i was accidential damage i am okay though, orange is sending out a replacement phone.
The fall which is normal for phones was very little, my old nokia 7210 could have handled it without no problems.
The phone is fragile, VERY fragile but its still a good phone, just watch not drop it...

I have actually dropped mine on three occasions - one time DOWN THE STAIRS, and it's still intact. You were probably just unlucky.

Was it with the flip on? That can be dangerous...

I have my flip on also but many people have found that excessive pressure due to dropping or pressure in pocket can press one of the keys agains the display giving high pressure at a small contact point cracking the screen.

So whats more healthy for my P800, Flip or no flip
To "Flip" or not to "Flip" this is the question

I to have dropped mine on a tiled floor, of course I went into instant panic mode. However not even a scratch or dent was to be found. It was probably one of those freak accidents where your screen cracked. All in all I wouldn't consider the P800 that fragile...

every phone has weak spots, the T68's weak spot is the slidekey, it had to be repaired twice whit me, the T200's weak spot is the back cover, it jumps off fast when you just drop it, not but damadge but still, the T600 hasn't really got one i think, T65 is strong but the weak spot is where you insert the simcard, lots of phones have weak spots, everybrand has weak spots, but its all about luck, i hope i never drop my P800 but it has already been close a few times.

Best for P800: no keypad, add a brando scratchguard.
