My phone started blinking this warning trainagle, with the screen switching to the ficture of the phone, an emphasis on the power button and a time-clock with 10 written on it?!?!? What the hell does it want? I tried everything, and only taking out the battery gets rid of the warning screen. I tried holding down the button for 10 seconds, even 20... is that supposed to reset?

HELP.. it's kind'a annoying!

Wow... mine stayed like that for about 30 minutes, at which time I took out the battery!

By the way, how do I tell which firmware I have and where do I find the latest ones?

Hi this is called the 'white screen of death' by the guys on here and it should turn off if you hold the power button for ten seconds.

Same problem but holding down the on/off switch worked for me!

To find out your software versions
Go to "Application" menu >View>System information

Hold it down hard for at LEAST 10 seconds and it should turn the phone off.

Since I got my P800 on 26 Jan I have only had that message once. I am sure it must be to do with badly written software that you are running. I personally only use handy day and worldmate and a couple of other programs.

It's been happening to me more often now than before... it usually happens while I'm writing an SMS or an email. It's starting to get to me since I'd usually have to rewrite everything I've already wrote after a reset. Sigh. I'm suspecting it might be one of the apps I installed. I hope the firmware upgrade will fix this.
