I read many posts adout durability.....
But i dont think any one had such a stuped expirence as me
I had t68i in my swimware when i got in to SEA. I undersend it right away it start vibreting, playing ring tone.... Could not turn it of and took bettery right away. It was not turning on for a few days.... Then it turned on and not just that. I went to system menu. And done all tests EVERY think was working. BUT but the main think it could not find network . Trensmiter got burned.
I turned it on agen just for fun after 1,5 mounts. And it found network and i was able to meke few calls. But it stop finding network after i turned it on and of a few times. But still i think it is preaty good for such a pice of eguipment to work after Solt water.

Does any one had same expirence??

I hope non of you did. But if yes would love to hear it.

i saw a video on this forum that showed the T68i last the longest of all phones underwater, and in water.
I believe this was clear water....

where as salt water is concerned, that is a different thing. Salt water corrodes the metal components inside, and leaves behind residue. So that is what has caused your t86 to die. the SALT, not the water.

my girlfriend dropped her nokia 331058832whatever down the toilet and it still worked, well apart from when it turns itself off, another reason why nokias suck
