when i bought the phone and phone dealer told to to charge the batt for 8 hours, and the batt standby and talktime will be better. It is right?

yea..malaysian dealers always say charge 8 hours which contradicts to the manual saying 4-5 hours
however just charge it for 8 hours for just the first time
u wont burn ur battery by overcharging one time

I tend to read the manual and follow the instructions there. That way if there is a problem with battery performance I can say I followed the instructions in the manual and the phone manufacturer have no argument that I did not do the right thing.
