Is there a way to enter upper case letters using the stylus?

write in line with the black arrow on the right hand side of the screen if using handwriting-recognition or tap CAPS if using the keyboard.

Has anybody noticed that when you draw a vertical stroke downwards, it translate as a "I" when written in the section for uppercase letters but a "L" when written in the section for lowercase letters?

@dark ray...
of course it does... how do you write the letter "L" in small case? how about the "i" in upper case? It is confusing though coz the P800 uses a sans serif font

But I think it's kind of weird because since Jot already segment the handwriting recognition to a zone for uppercase and lowercase letter, shouldn't they keep it consistent? Personally I would prefer the vertical stroke downloads to be "i" throughout. The down-up vertical stroke is a pain and when I am in a hurry, I always end up getting "ll" (2 "L") instead of "i"....

Also, is there a way to do away with the wait before inputing a space when the last letter is a "L"? I would wish that if we had used the complete "L" stroke followed immediately by a space, it will translate it to "l " instead of "t". Somehow, I always end up writing a lot of words that end with a "L" and so I find it somewhat inconvenient. I had emailed Sony Ericsson for their opinions, but all they did was to tell me to refer to the Jot reference table in their user manual. While I think they have a great product, I think their customer service needs some major improvement.
