Right I know there are several threads for the cheapest p800 on a new contract but I really can't be bothered with the hassle of changing my number or network!

What is the cheapest price anyone has seen or purchased the p800 for as an upgrade? Preferrably on Orange.

As a benchmark Orange themselves charge £250 and I have had the phone off of them for my 7 days now and have got to return it I'm not interested in spending that much. Every time I pick up my t68i now it feels like I have stepped backwards a decade or two! Please help me find a reasonably priced upgrade!

I phoned Orange Customer Relations (not customer services) and said i wanted the new P800 phone but wanted to keep my number, therefore would move to another network. Initially they said £250, then after more bleeting looked at my account and calculated some factor and said I could have one for £180 - still too much for me so i got a new contract (with orange).
Will convert my old account to PAYG (OVP Virgin since cheaper xnet calls) and leave a voice message on there with my new number.
Easiest way really, would have liked to have kept my number AND stayed with Orange without being the high cost!

What is the number for Orange Customer Relations? I can only find the number for Customer Services where I was told it would cost £300 to upgrade....

There is a direct number to get to Customer Relations but i cant remember it. I got to them via dialing 150 then after a couple of options got an option to press (a number) 'If you are thinking of leaving Orange', this option takes u to Orange Customer Relations.

They don't (at this exact moment in time) have the p800 listed for upgrades and their prices aren't any better than any where else

if you spend a certain amount per month ie. over £70/£80, then you should be in a better bargaining position to have your network give you any phone for free on upgrade...there is an approach that rarely fails but you gotta use your head...if i blag the details here loads of idiots will mess it up for the rest of us...just use your brain a bit and give them a call.
