Hello
The reason I unlocked my t68i is because i wanted to be able to send international sms. I got a prepaid Tmobile sim card today for $50 --kinda expensive i know- and whenever it runs out i will have to add more time . sounds ok to me.
My AT&T plan is :1000whenever minutes plus $5 for sms and $7 for wap, for $40. Monthly cost comes around $60--cause i sms a lot-. pretty good for me. The service i get from ATT has always been very good for me.

Now if Tmobile has to offer me a better plan i will switch. What do you think?

go to your local t-mobile shop and find out, they do have pretty good deals. like for 40 you get 3000 whenever minues and 5 extra, you get like 500 sms messages a month.

this deal is maybe not avaiable still, but check it out.

T-Mobile's specials change all the time so it is hard to say exactly what is best. It also depends on where you reside.

Without a special you get following for $39.99:

600 whenever minutes
unliminited weekends
free nationwide roaming
free long-distance

for $2.99 extra you get:

1Mb of GPRS data or 500 SMS

I am very satisfied with T-Mobile. Excellent customer service!

@dimgr can you tell me how to get prepaid tmobile cards, I don't see that option on their website.

@display polish - do you know if that 2.99 will allow you to browse web pages and send and receive email (pop3 not via mail portal) on a p800 ?

just go in and ask for a prepaid sim card. It costs $52 here and you have 125minutes. when it runs out you buy more minutes not another sim.I am not staing here for ever and i already have ATT ; i just wanted tmobile for their international sms

For $10/mon you can get buddy time which is unlimited nights and unilimited sms. If you send a lot of SMS that's a awesome deal. AT&T allows you to recieve unlimited sms but charges to send so TM can certainly beat that.

TM certainly has much better family (shared) plans. Having been an AT&T users I can honestly saw we are much happier with TM. Cheaper plans and service has been better.

kaaspad> depending on what phone you have. On my P800 it is possible to read POP3 mail and browse web pages with the $2.99 But the $2.99 plan does not last long if you plan to browse regular web pages so I usually stick to WML-pages.
