> T9 on P800 - When and if?

Will it ever be included on a software upgrade. Its the most annoying thing on the phone when your out and about and have to use mulitap to send a text - My T68i is far more user friendly in this respect.
Any ideas?

Actually... I thought I would do a search and see how many times T9 has been discussed so I did a search of "p800 T9".
What I got was...
Searched the forum for p800 t9
Word excluded: t9
so what I got what a list of articles with P800! Fat lot of good that was!
Is there a way to make this search keep T9 in my search?
I've had this happen a few times on search but this is a good example to ask about.

Thats the bigest problem with searches, so much to look at that it's easy to get bored searching the results of a search for the relavant info!
People all too easily jump down the throats of newbs for not searching. The advantage that people who read forums regularly have is that when they search for things they are generally searching for somthing that they have already read once, and a returned subject line will jog their memory.

forget about it, never gonna happen! SE have to fix tons of bugs (camera for example) before they include T9 on the p800! almost half a year the p800 was delayed (some countries still dont have it)...and doesnt seem like SE were doing anything besides scratching their asses and taking pleasure seeing everyone squirm with anticipation! Bastards!

well i sent SE a email about this a realy long time ago and got a reply about a week ago and they simply said we are takeing all of your comments, and will be addeding all these requests to a list. well sumthing like that
and so i guess that it will be added to a future firmware update?
i then reply saying does this mean it will be added to a future upgrade? there reply was simply at this time it is to erly to tell if such features as "t9" will be added to any future firmware updates but you will be intiteld to a free firmware update

t9 is less than 3 characters and that is why you cannot search for it. Even though it was entered with the word p800 the search engine searches for individual words

ok maybe its justme...but i dont really see the point in t9 for the P800 all the much...T9 to me seems like something you would use on phones where you have to push the #1 key 3 times then the #3 2 times to spell out a work. I mean...its not like computers have T9, you DO have to type out your whole sentence, and there is a virtual keyboard on the P800. So unless you are an extreamly slow typer; suck it up and spend the extra .5 seconds to tap the other 2 buttons to finnish the word. lol or hell WRITE the word. The Letter recoanition oin the p800 is GREAT once u get used to it
