i just got a phone call from a friend at uiq who said that
are planning to release uiq 3.0 on the p800. it includes some mental features
1. A new ui
2. Pre set profiles
3. Intergrated full screen video
4. Real player
5. Larger memory stick support
6. Full screen broswer
7. Optional Gps support via bluetooth
8. Optimised camera
9. Lengh limited video recording

Happy April Fools day. will take the good news on this post with a pinch of salt. I haven't got the P800 (still waiting for O2 to release it) yet but how easy is it to update to the latest version of uiq. Would I be right in assuming that I could send it to a SE repair centre (just like I sent my T39 twice to repair software bugs) to get it reflashed. Is it as easy as that or would there be a hardware.
